About

Clear water,
steady ground.

I build software for asset management. Over twenty-five years I have led products across Portfolio Management, Fixed Income and FX Trading, Credit Research, and Operational Risk Analytics, moving from hands-on engineering into product and delivery leadership.

Today I am a Quantitative Risk Analyst and Product Manager for Fidelity Asset Management's Operational Risk Analytics platform. The work is to identify, aggregate and report on risk events so the business can see where its controls and processes need care. In systems as in life, integrity is the goal, and faults keep getting in the way. I am learning to face them and build better ground. Good risk work is a lot like good time outdoors: pay attention, respect the terrain, and leave things better than you found them.

Away from the screen I care about animals, and I like forests, mountains and open water. I am genuinely excited about AI, not as a threat to the craft but as a new kind of collaborator. Something new is on the way here, built in that spirit.
